hy friends, pls help me... why more serious burns are caused by steam at 1000°c than water at same temperature... pls help me...

as you know that when we heat the water steams are formed
which means steams are already having high temperature
so when you provide them more heat i.e. 1000°C so the temperature in them goes high
while in the case of water when you heat them at 1000°C it will start to form steams , they will be also super heated but some of its heat goes in converting it into steam
SO MORE SERIOUS BURNS ARE CAUSED BY STEAM THAN WITH WATER THOUGH AT SAME TEMPERATURE
