a) The area of a parallelogram is calculated by using the formula
"b×h", i.e., breadth× height
Given:
b=15cm
h=40cm
b×h= 15×40
area =600cm^2
b)The area of a triangle is calculated by using the formula 1/2*b*h if both the base and height including the sides is given, and if only the sides are given we would be using the heron's formula,i.e,√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c).
here everything is mentioned, so
Given:
b= 14cm
h=7cm
1/2*b*h= 1/2* 14*7
area =49cm^2

I'm not familiar with the cube.....sorry!....but I hope this helps!!
