Some people might be thinking its structure is similar to amonia therefore it should have sp3 hybridisation .

But if you compare the angle between As and H bond .the angle is close to 90.what is the reason behind the such a large deviation from sp3 bond angle i.e. 108.This is because the reason that the elements below 2nd period do not undergo hybridisation with electropositive elements like hydrogen(Drago's rule). Therefore As doesn't undergo hybridisation with Hydrogen so hybridisation of AsH3is not defined.
