In this compound, the oxidation state of Chromium is +6. By looking at the above structure, you must have observed that 4 of the O atoms attached, are combined by the peroxide linkage. So, there oxidation states are taken as -1. The other one is normal. So, its oxidation state is taken as -2.

The hybridisation in the above compound is sp3d and the structure is trigonal bipyramidal.

lovehanjra: thanks gg
AyeshaChoudhary: welcome
lovehanjra: but would u pls tellme thathow we got the oxidisation +6
lovehanjra: pls
lovehanjra: would u help me
AyeshaChoudhary: you can check the structure of cro5 it has 4 oxygen which are attached to with single bond and this is known as peroxylinkage and such oxygen has -1 hybridisation and doubly bonded 1 oxygen has -2 hybridisation so ,x -2 +4(-1)=0 ,x=6
lovehanjra: thanks alottt ggg
