Hyderabad and
Bangalore which are 569 km apart.
Tanmayee and Ridhi are travelling by car from Hyderabad to Bangalore. They traveled
of 89 km in one hour Ridhi said that they are not in a hurry, so
they travelled at a uniform speed of 32 km per hour for the rest
of their journey. Tanmayee was happy that they could reach
their destination in 15 hours. Do you think she is correct in
calculating the journey time? Why Why not?​

16 hours

EXPLANATION

no she was wrong because if we calculate it we get that they can only cover 537 km in 15 hours

Total time 15 hour - 1hour = 14

14x32= 448

448+89 = 537 km

RIGHT ANSWER

let add one more hour with uniform speed

14+1=15

15x32=480

480+89(speed they travel in first hour)

=569km

so correct answer is 15(distance they traveled in uniform speed) + 1 (speed they travel in first hour )

=16 hours
