The Musi Flood was a devastating flood that took place on 28th September 1908 in the Hyderabad on the banks of Musi river. The first sign of flood came when the water overflowed the Puranapul bridge followed by the cloudburst. The river rose immensely and flooded the city.The worst hit area was Kolsawadi and Ghansi Bazar in Afzal Gunj.
