hydrochloric acid does not corrode the lining of our stomach give reasons? plz tell anyone I am bit confused about the answer ​

Answer:

Though HCl is a strong acid it becomes diluted in our stomach because we contain alot of water in our body/stomach and also mucus is secreted by the gastric glands which prevents HCl to corrode.as a result the walls of the stomach won't be hurted/digested by HCl.
