Hydrochloric acid is a strong acid yet it does not corrode the walls of stomach. Why?

its because the HCL acid which we have in our stomach is very much diluted due to water........

Though HCl is a strong acid it becomes diluted in our stomach because we contain alot of water in our body/stomach and also mucus is secreted by the gastric glands which prevents HCl to corrode.as a result the walls of the stomach won't be hurted/digested by HCl.
