The acidic pH is created by hydrochloric acid, which is secreted by cells in the stomachlining. The chemical is needed in order to activate a stomach enzyme that digests the proteins in food. Hydrochloric acid also kills many bacteria that enter the stomach, protecting us from harm. Plz Follow me

Hey
1) Gland in our stomach also secrete a liquid called mucus with HCl which protects the lining of stomach.
2) It depends on the type of fertilizer used. If it was basic then vinegar, lemon juice must be used. And if acid then lime water or calcium.
Hope it helps :)
