Renewable energy is the energy that is collected from renewable sources. Renewable sources are naturally replenished over a period of time sand are hence inexhaustible. They do not contribute to the degradation of the environment. Water from earth, sunlight, and wind sources are used as renewable fuels for hydroelectric energy, solar energy and wind energy respectively.
