hydrogen and oxygen combine in the ratio of 1 is to 8 by mass to form water what mass of Oxygen gas would be required to react completely with 3 gram of oxygen

Since, the ration by which oxygen and hydrogen combine to give water is 1:8. So, 3g of hydrogen will combine with 3×8=24g of oxygen to give water. If for 1 g of HYDROGEN ,it is 8 g of OXYGEN.
