Hydrogen has been used as a rocket fuel.would you consider it a cleaner fuel than CNG?why or why not?

hydrogen produces water on burning .
2 H2 + O2----> 2 H2O
but when we use CNG as a fuel it releases carbon and increase amount of carbon in our environment which is harmful for us.

♤Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant but it leads to rise in the temperature this would effect the polar ice and life on earth is at risk due to global warming and green house effect.
