hydrogen has been used as rocket fuel would you considered it a cleaner fuel than cng?why or why not

Hydrogen is cleaner fuel,
but when its combine with Carbon....it becomes less clean
Such as , Unsaturated hydrocarbons are very pollution making gases....

hydrogen produces water vapour when burnt and CNG releases carbon dioxide while burning.So hydrogen is a cleaner fuel than CNG
