As the reaction between is carried out in a sealed glass bulb the system is considered as the closed system with the exchange of energy between the system and surroundings. This type of closed system comes under thermodynamics where the energy and the heat is transferred but the mass is not exchanged. The amount of particle present in this system can be reduced or remain constant but it does not increase. The closed system is always a conserved system.
