Hydrogen is a metal or a non metal?
If it is a metal then why it is in gaseous form (as metals are in solid or in liquid state only )and if it is a non metal then why it is placed in the activity series?

according to modern periodic table ,
hydrogen is a non metal,
but it placed in activity series because
this law cannot explain about the actual position of hydrogen

Hydrogen is a non metal as it possesses the property to lose an electron and reduce other element.

mark it as brainliest if you feel it so.......
hope it helps......
