The chemical structure of hydrogen peroxide is H2O2,
Due to Oxygen - Oxygen is linked, Hydrogen peroxide breaks slow at room temperature and fast in presence of heat and light

2H2O2 = 2H2O + O2

To stop the break down, It is stored in plastic bottles because it limit the wave length of light entering into the bottle and less is absorbed by solution.
