Hydrogen is a non metal.
It is a exception in case of metalloids.
Hydrogen when heated or cooled may differ from the property of non metal.
but at normal temperature hydrogen is purely a non-metal.
Metalloids act like a metal when with a nonmetal and act like a nonmetal when with a metal.
But hydrogen does not do satisfy this property.so it is a non metal.
They do not conduct electricity in its gaseous state.
