Hydrogen sulphide burns in air to give water and sulphur dioxide . why do we take O2 instead of air in its chemical equation ?

>> WE TAKE OXYGEN INSTEAD OF ANY OTHER COMPONENT OF AIR BECAUSE OXYGEN IS THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF AIR. AND HYDROGEN SULPHIDE WILL BURN ONLY UNDER OXYGEN.
