Hydrogen sulphide gas burns in air to give water and sulphur dioxide.
=> 2H2S + 3O2 --> 2H2O + 2SO2 is correct answer as I searched but according to me, shouldn't it be 4O2 because in 2H2O & 2SO2, it takes total 6 atoms of Oxygen but in 3O2 it is only 5.
Please help me to understand it and tell if I understood any concept wrong.
I'll brainliest to who help me.

You shouldn't add the atoms , here you have to multiply the i.e 3 mole of O2 - 6 atom and on the product side 2 mole of O means 2 atom plus 2 mole of SO2 - 2×2 - 4 and the total moles became 2+4-6

bro....we dont add 3 nd 2..as pr ur ques. we will muliply it....so we will get 6 atoms of O......So....in 4O2....the atoms will be 8....so it is wrong.....the right ans is 3O2..it will have 6 atoms..so it is correct.. ao right balanced equation will be 2H2S+3O2--->2H2O+2SO2HOPE U WILL UNDERATANDD...
