hydrogen sulphide is a bad smelling compound. Rotten eggs get their bad smell from the H2S they release. can we say that sulphur andHydrogen seperately are just as smelly asHydrogen Sulphide? Give reason.

Hydrogen is odourless whereas Sulphur has a Pungent smell(Not like of rotten eggs).

The Perception of smell comes from how they stimulate(affect) our receptors for smell.

Just like the belief that Spicy is a taste.But spicy isn't a taste. It's just a sensation of pain due to excitement of pain receptors in tongue that we get due to capsaicin.
