Answer:

Water Cycle or Hydrological Cycle:

• The cycle starts when water on the earth surface evaporates. Evaporation means the sun heats the water which turns into gas,

• and then water collects as water vapour in the sky. This makes clouds. After sometime water in the clouds gets cold and becomes liquid again. This process is called condensation.

• Then the water falls from the sky as rain, snow, sleet or hail. This is called precipitation.

• After that the water sinks into the surface and also collects into lakes and occans. It evaporates again and continues the cycle.

Uses of Water:

• Water is used for Domestic Use like drinking, cooking, bathing, cleaning, washing clothes and utensils etc.

• In Industries to carry on the process of production water is needed.

• We need water to irrigate the agricultural fields to get crops.

The flow of liquid water and ice transports minerals across the globe. It is also involved in reshaping the geological features of the Earth, through processes including erosion and sedimentation. The water cycle is also essential for the maintenance of most life and ecosystems on the planet.
