The carbon cycle is a biogeochemical cycle by which carbon is exchanged among biosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere of the blue planet Earth. Carbon is the main component of the biological compounds as well as major components of various minerals like limestone. Along with nitrogen and water cycle,the carbon cycle comprises a sequence of events that are the keys to make Earth capable of sustainable life.
