There is radioactive decay going on in your body. Every element has more than one isotope. In most cases the naturally occuring isotopes of more common elements that make up our bodies aren't radioactive . However since the advent of nuclear weapons testing our environment has trace amounts of radioactive isotopes of these common elements.
