Hyperconjugation structure of butanone are drawn
•Hyperconjugation is conjugation of sigma & pi bonds or sigma or pi electrons
•For hyperconjugation Sp² hybrid carbon must be present alongwith alpha hydrogen
•More the number of hyperconjugating structures more is the stability of compound
• Hyperconjugation is also known as no bond resonance
• It is weaker than resonance because in resonace pi electrons are exchanged & in Hyperconjugation sigma bond electrons are displaced . Hence resonance is stronger than Hyperconjugation .
• Since , Butanone has 5 alpha hydrogen , hence it will have 5 Hyperconjugation structure
