According to Hypotenuse Theorem,
x^2+y^2=z^2
so x^2=z^2-y^2
=625-576
=49

so x=7cm

So let's take the triangle as triangle ABC in which,
AC=25cm(hypotenuse)
AB= 24cm
AC=?

By Pythagoras Theorem :-
$hypotenuse { }^{2} = base ^{2} + perpendicular ^{2}$
So,
$25 ^{2} = ac + 24 ^{2}$
$ac ^{2} = 25 ^{2} - 24^{2}$
$ac ^{2} = 625 - 576$
$ac ^{2} = 49$
AC= 7(base)


Length of the other side is 7cm.
