3/A vehicle is accelerating on a straight road. Its
velocity at any instant is 30 km h-1, after 2 s, it is
33.6 km h- and after further 2 s, it is 37.2 km h-1.
Find the acceleration of vehicle in m s-2. Is the
acceleration uniform ? Ans. 0-5 m s-2,

Here,

u1 = 30 km/h

t = 2 s

u2 = 33.6 km/h

a = (u2 – u1)/t

a1 = (33.6 – 30)/2 = 1.8 ms-2

Similarly, a2 = (37.2 – 33.6)/2 = 1.8 ms-2

The acceleration of the vehicle is 1.8 ms-2

Here,

after 2s, velocity risses with about 3.6 km/hr

so,

3.6/2 = 1.8 km/hr

(1.8*1000)metre per second/(60*60)second

=(5/10)m/s

=0.5m/s

Answer is 0.5m/(s*s)

yes, it is

acceleration uniform. hope this answer helps you
