Answer:

2x^2+x-4=0

2x^2/2+x/2+(1/4)^2=2+(1/4)^2

(x+1/4)^2=2+(1/4)^2

(x+1/4)^2=2+1/16

(x+1/4)^2=33/16

(x+1/4)=root +_33/16

x=root 33/not root 4-1/4

x=(root33 -not root1)/4

x=-root33/not root 4-1/4

x=-root33-notroot-1/4
