Answer:

1st equation ----3x+4y-10=0

2nd equation ----2x-2y-2= 0

Firstly make any of the co-efficients

equal multiplying with some constant

we will make variable of 2 nd equation by multiplying with -2

-2(2x-2y-2)=0

-4x+4y-4= 0

now variable of y are equal now. start eliminating second equation from first.

3x+4y-10=0

-4x+4y+4=0. we will substract

7x+0-14=0 this is final equation

this equation can be written as 7x=14

x becomes 14/7 =2

so the value of x is 2

Hope it was clear

Answer:

y=1,x=2

Step-by-step explanation:

3x+4y=10 eq -1

2x-2y=2 eq-2

2(3x+4y=10) 3(2x-2y=2)

6x+8y=20 eq-3 6x-6y=6 eq-4

eq3-eq4

6x+8y=20

-6x-+6y=-6

14y=14

y=14/14

y=1

put the value of y in eq-1

3x+4y=10

3x+4×1=10

3x+4=10

3x=10-4

3x=6

x=6/3

x=2
