Answer:

i) 6/24 = 1/4

ii) Now only 23 bulbs are left and only 5 are defective

So, the probability of getting a defective bulb now is 5/23

Hope it helps!!

Answer:

(I)As 6 bulbs are mixed with 24 good one therefore total outcome is 30

P(Good bulb) = 24/30

(2) Now one bulb is removed which is bad therefore total outcome = 29 and defective bulb=5

P(Defective bulb ) = 5/29
