Question

[(−8)×(−3)]×(−4) is not equal to

A

(−8)×[(−3)×(−4)]

C

D

Solution

Correct option is

D

(−8)×(−3)−(−8)×(−4)

Option (d) is correct.

[(−8)×(−3)]×(−4)=(−8)×[(−3)×(−4)]

[(−8)×(−3)]×(−4)=[(−8)×(−4)]×(−3)[(−8)×(−3)]×(−4)=[(−3)×(−8)]×(−4)

But,

[(−8)×(−3)]×(−4)=(−8)×(−3)−(−8)×(−4)

Therefore, option(d) is not correct
