Answer:

1.Current = 0.1 Amperes.

Explanation:

Given that the charge is 0.5 Couloumbs.

Time taken to conduct the current is 5 seconds.

Current = charge / time.

= 0.5 / 5

= 0.1 A

So, the amount of current passed through a cross-section of a conductor in 5 seconds when the charge is 0.5C is 0.1 Amperes.

2.One kilogram weight is that gravitational force which acts on a body of mass 1 kg. g = 9.8 m/s2. 1 kg wt = 1 kgf = 9.8 N. This means that the weight of 1 kg mass is 9.8 N.

3.Whereas when a man falls on a heap of sand. As sand can compress, it takes longer time for the man to hit the ground (or hard surface). Due to longer time, it reduces the man's momentum gently and hence the man either will not get hurt or may get less injury.

Disclaimer:-Your 2nd no. question is wrong it will be one kg weight not one kg.
