Two sets A and B are said disjoint sets only when intersection of A and B becomes empty set or null set.

e.g., if A and B are two sets then they are disjoint sets when A\cap B=\emptysetA∩B=∅

here, A = {a , e, i, o, u} and B = {a, b, c, d}

then, A\cap BA∩B = {a , e, i, o, u} \cap∩ {a, b, c, d}

= {a} ≠ \emptyset∅

so, A and B are not disjoint sets.
