Given: Number of apples is 20 more than two-third number of oranges.

           Number of apples = 70

To find: Number of oranges

Let: Number of oranges be x

Solution: Given that,

Number of apples = 70

also, number of apples is 20 more than two-third number of oranges.

i.e., number of apples = \frac{2}{3} x + 20

\frac{2}{3} x + 20 = 70

\frac{2}{3}x = 70 - 20

\frac{2}{3} x = 50

x = 50 * \frac{3}{2} = 75

Hence, there are 75 oranges.
