Explanation:

Option a) 18 years old

Older or elder in reference to age means more in age.

In this question the person asking the questions says that his/her sister is elder to him/her.

This means that the age of the sister is more than the person asking the question and the age of the person asking the question is 16.

In a number line, as we move from left to right - the value of numbers increase, that is, number on the left of a reference point are lesser in value and numbers on the right of a reference point are greater in value.

In this question, we take the age of the person asking the question i.e 16 as our reference point.

As we know that in a number line, numbers 10 , 14 , 15 are on the left of 16 and only 18 comes on the right of 16.

Hence, out of the options given, only 18 is a number more in value than 16.

All the other options that are 10, 14 and 15 are less in value than 16.

Hence the answer is 18 year old.

Note:- Question should be like

I am 16 years old. My sister is elder to me. She is

(a) 18 years old

(b) 15 years old

(c) 14 years old

(d) 10 years old
