Let the number be 10x+y.
Digits of number are x and y.
According to Question,
x+y=12                                  ...(i)
x-y=4                                     ...(ii)
Adding (i) and (ii),
⇒2x=16
⇒x=8
⇒x+y=12                                                                       [From (i)]
⇒8+y=12
⇒y=4
Therefore,
The number is 10x+y=(10*8)+4 = 84, which is greater than 50.

Answer:

let u= unit digit

t= tens digit

u+t= 12

u-t= 4

adding

2u = 16

u = 8

t = 12 - u = 8

hence the number is 84
