Question

I am a bit confused over it...
let us take two measurements
4km and 0.1km
let us multiply them in two ways.
1. 4km *0.1km= 0.4km= 400m
2. 4000m*100m=400000m
Why are the two results obtained for the same values different?

yeah...it's really confusing to notice this difference....may be this difference because of the conversion...not sure...
