Actinodaphne Campanulata var. campanulata is the name of the species of the flower which is endemic to Tamil Nadu. It belongs to the family of Lauraceae and is distributed in Agasthiyamalai hills. Endemic in real sense means, that which is restricted to a specific geographical area or ecological unit. It is isolated by geographical, ecological or temporal barriers.
