I am a fraction equivalent 20/28, if you were to multiply my denominators by my numerator the product would be 140 what fraction am I???​

And the denominator be y

Fraction =x/y

Given that

x/y =20/28

x=y*5/7 -(1)

Also if denominator is multiplied by numerator it gives 140

y*x =140 -(2)

Substuting the value of x from (1)in (2)

y*y*5/7 =140

y2=980/5

y2 =196

y = 14

Since x=y*5/7

Substituting the value of y

x =14*5/7

x =10

Hence the value of x and y are 10 and 14 respectively

Fraction =x/y

Fraction =10/14
