Given : Denominator is 2 more than Numerator.

Sum of Numerator and Denominator is 10.

To Find:  Fraction

Solution:

Fraction = N/D

N = Numerator

D = Denominator

Denominator is 2 more than Numerator.

=> D = N + 2

Sum of Numerator and Denominator is 10.

=> N + D  = 10

Substitute D = N + 2

=> N + N + 2 = 10

=> 2N = 8

=> N = 4

D = N + 2  = 4 + 2 = 6

Hence Fraction is 4/6
