Slate

Slate is a fine-grained, foliated, analogous metamorphic rock originated from an absolute shale-type sedimentary rock constituted of mud or ash formed from the volcano and also through the process of low-grade metamorphism.

Foliation may not correspond to the initial sedimentary layering but alternatively is in planes straight to the administration of metamorphic concentration. It is recommended for an extensive variety of applications such as roofing, floors, and also for the purpose of blackboard because of its endurance and beautiful appearance.
