Given : a prime number between 70 and 100 .

tens digit is one less than  ones digit .

To Find : Number

Solution:

number between 70 and 100 .

Hence Tens digit can be

7 , 8 or 9

Now  tens digit is one less than  ones digit .

Hence Tens Digit can not be 9   as its largest digit

for 7 as tens digit 8 is unit digit

for 8 as tens digit 9 is unit digit

Hence 78 and 89 are 2 possible numbers

78 = 2 * 3 * 13

Hence not a prime number

so 89 is the correct answer
