Water is a resource of prime importance. It is required for irrigation, industries, transport, drinking, bathing and several other purposes in every day life. Life on the earth would not be possible without water. It is an excellent and cheap resource for generating hydroelectricity. It is a renewable and pollution-free source of energy, essential for modern comfortable living. Therefore, water is indispensable in our day to day life. We find it everywhere - in rivers, oceans, tanks, wells and ponds etc  but there is still lack of clean drinking water.

I am a Water Saviour. I neither waste this life-supporting resource, nor let other waste it. The moment I see any tap running, I rush to it and turn it off. I don’t throw any litter in any water body. I don’t over use this resource in any manner. I just use as much as is required.  

it is our responsibility to conserve this life nectar. It is possible only through by changing our outlook towards this wonderful natural resource. Students can play a great role in conserving this life-giving nectar by being the volunteers and protectors of water. They can conduct rallies across cities and villages to make people aware of practices that preserve water.
