I am absent on one of the 10th board ssc exam due to some problems... am I considered as fail? what should I do?

Answer:

if it's due to corona virus then the board will conduct reexamination. At least it's like that for cbse. I am not sure about ssc. But I think they will conduct reexamination hopefully
