I am an average student achieving 50% - 60% in exams. My parents said they want above 90% in the 10th board. I am trying my best but 90% is too much. They keep scolding me all the time and have decided a daily TEN HOURS study timetable for me. Whenever I say something against them, they say "I don't want to speak about this topic." What should I do?

You will need to understand your parents ..

Sometimes a person doesn’t perform well in practice tests but doesn’t mean that the slope of his graph of performance won’t increase in the final test unless an individual dropped down all the weapons and hopes.

It was a pre-board which usually helps a student to analyze whether he is ready for the final shot or not but if you haven’t performed according to your expectations in it then it’s the time for a little introspection. You need to take out a piece of paper and write down what were your faults and what were the reason behind your bad result. It’s going to help you a lot!

By doing right things like giving equivalent time to all the subjects, start preparing for the boards, forget about the pre-boards, do proper practice and taking pieces of advice from well knowledgeable teachers who has the experiences with the board’s examination can surely give you an extra boost!

Just focus what’s there in front of you instead of looking behind and regretting about what were the things that you could have done to change the result.
