Positive:-

Very few animals in the world are as ferocious as the tiger.

Comparative:-

Very few animals in the world are as more ferocious as the tiger.

Superlative:-

Very few animals in the world are the most ferocious as the tiger.

Degrees of comparison:-

Some adverbs have the degrees of comparison like adjectives.

And it is divided into three types:

  • Positive degree.
  • Comparative degree.
  • Superlative degree.

Usage of these degrees of comparison:-

So in general if the adverb of a sentence, the comparative is formed by adding er and the superlative is formed by adding est

Comparative:- Later.

Superlative:- Latest.
