I am currently working on music for a musical I'm writing, what are some tips for composing songs that are actually good?

For composing music the biggest tip is that record whatever you compose as while composing songs you come with some tune but due to some distraction those tunes are gone .

So kindly record everything possible or have someone with you who is good at remembering tunes

Secondly have patience and be relax

composing songs is a tough work and needs patience and creativeness .
