I am driving at speed of 100 km/h

If I drive at 115 km/h then I will reach to destination 2 hour early.

If I drive at 85 km/h then I will reach to destination 3 hour late.

Question: What is the distance (KM)?​

x be the distance

and t is the time taken , when he ride with speed of 100km/h

hence x=100t.................1

now given, that time is reduced by 2hr when he travels with speed of 115km/h

hence, x= 115(t-2)............2

also , time taken is increased by 3hr if he travels with speed of 85km/hr

hence, x=85(t+3)...............3

now equating 2&3

we get, 115(t-2) = 85(t+3)

=> 115t - 230 = 85t + 255

=> 115t - 85t = 230 + 255

=> 30t = 485

=> t = 485/30 = 16.1

now putting value of t in 1

we get , x = 100(16.1)

=> x= 161km
