Pure hydrogen burns silently with a pale blue flame means when hydrogen is burn meauns only H it should not be mixed with other gases then it burns and flame which is formed is of pale blue colour

whereas

mixture of hydrogen and air explodes woth pop sound  means when you want to check whether gas is of hydrogen burn it, it will create a pop sound.

Hope u have understood dear^^
