Changes made :-

The word 'that' was added.

'I' was converted into 'she' as pronoun changes are to be made (Lyn; being a girl).

As the reported verb was in Past tense, the tense was changed in the reported speech (Present tense into Past tense).

The word 'now' got changed into 'then', as per the rules. (Reference - Words denoting time and place must be changed.)

The following points need to be noted about the Direct and Indirect forms of narration :-
