There's virtually no ‘inorganic chemistry’ or ‘organic chemistry’ in medicine other than the basics. You won't be pushing around electrons or taking about electron shells or the structures of drugs. However, good reasoning about basic concepts like osmosis, molarity, enzymes, and biochemical reactions will be helpful. The chemistry most useful in medicine is biochemistry (as it relates to physiology as opposed to laboratory techniques).

So, no you don't need to be a chemistry wiz to be a good med student or doctor. But, ask yourself why are you ‘bad’ at chemistry? Are you struggling to study something you find boring? Imagine abstract concepts out visualize 3d molecules? All of these are red flags. In med school you can't just say: “Kidneys are too complicated, my thing is lungs.” You're going to need to study it all.
